Position 1: CPiE and GBV Officer Re-advertised
The Opportunity
The position holder provides comprehensive technical support to implementation of the child protection policy and related programs within the Program Area (PA) and/or refugee camp. keep strong support and linkages with Harmful Traditional Practices (HTP) initiatives (who works on Early marriage) and other emergency response programs across the PA the role holder is accountable for delivering results aligned with agreed program plans and objectives, while overseeing the application of child protection policies at the PA level. by doing so, the position contributes to the broader goal of strengthening protection mechanisms and promoting positive community practices that prevent harmful traditional practices and violence against children. Position 3: CPiE and GBV Assistant
The Opportunity
The CPiE and GBV Assistant will support the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of emergency child protection and GBV interventions, including case management in refugee and host community settings. The role is vital in delivering safe, rights-based services for children, adolescents, and survivors aligned with donor requirements and inter-agency standards. Working closely with volunteer social workers, community structures, and partner organizations, the CPiE and GBV Assistant will serve as PlE representative at the grassroots level, maintaining direct and frequent engagement with the beneficiary community.
The Individual
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in humanitarian CPiE and/or GBV programming.

Position 5: Programme Insights Lead
The Opportunity
This is a new and key role within PIE and will use, analysis, collection and processing of data and information from within PIE, Plan more generally and from external sources is a vital part of our drive to develop an evidential base for our work in both the development and humanitarian spheres. This, in turn, allows us to influence donors and other stakeholders as well as develop the organisation at both the programme and strategic levels.
The post holder will run an efficient department and work across the Programme and Portfolio department to influence other functions and departments within PIE, especially programme managers to undertake their responsibilities towards data, collection and use. Of equal importance is ensuring that data is disseminated in a way that it can be used and that lessons are both learnt and used to develop our approach and practices.

The Opportunity
The job holder is responsible to facilitate integrated programming in joint areas of operation with a focus on cross-learning, downward accountability for smooth and effective management of the project, monitoring integration aspects and producing consolidated narrative reports, and facilitating effective working relationships amongst project partners, and representing PIE primarily in woreda, Zonal and regional level as per the need at the different coordination forums of the partners and stakeholders meetings, workshops and events as necessary and delegated.
