JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer, the scope of the compliance and feedback assistant is to support the implementation and management of the organization’s Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) and Feedback & Complaint Response Mechanism (FCRM). Position 2: Grant Partnership Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
Grant Partnership Specialist contribute to the calling of Medical Teams International by facilitating liaison with partners, government and stakeholders to address various requirement such as Letter of Understanding (LOU), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)s, contract agreement, partner due diligence, reports and teaming agreements. This position is responsible for coordinating consortiums and to capacitate local partners. The Partnership and Contracts Management Officer will also support the Grant Coordinator on the day-to-day grant activities as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the process of identifying, vetting, and onboarding implementing partners in coordination with technical and field teams.
Lead and organize MTI-led consortium proposal development, program implementation and donor reporting and communication.

Position 3: Monitoring Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
The Field Monitoring Assistant supports the implementation of monitoring activities at field level to ensure quality data collection, accurate reporting, and effective tracking of project performance. The position works closely with program staff, partners, and community stakeholders to collect, verify, and report data in line with organizational and donor requirements.
The Monitoring Assistant conducts routine field visits to project sites to monitor activities, verify reported results, and ensure compliance with project plans and standards. The role also supports data quality assurance, beneficiary registration and verification, distribution monitoring, post-distribution monitoring (PDM), and feedback collection mechanisms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Position 4: Cash Assistant (Verifier)
JOB SUMMARY
The Cash Assistant will support the implementation of the WFP‑funded Cash for Nutrition project targeting vulnerable populations, including IDPs and host communities. The role primarily involves conducting beneficiary verification, managing crowd control during cash distribution, and ensuring smooth, accountable, and transparent cash transfer processes. The position ensures high-quality, integrated nutrition sensitive programming to the community, including refugees, IDPs, and host populations, in accordance with national policies and Medical Team’s humanitarian standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Co‑sign the monthly distribution reports alongside the FSP and relevant local authorities.
Closely coordinate with FSP and WFP field monitoring in beneficiary identification and cash disbursement activities.
- Ensure timely submission to the WFP Country Office.
Lead and manage day-to-day activities of the health facility, ensuring quality, timely, and patient-centered care.
Provide awareness to IDPs that they will receive cash for food
- Inform beneficiaries about the transfer amount, disbursement mechanisms to be used, the processes & FSP details, and required documents to get the assistance
- Explain the scanning and use of QR codes during cash distributions
- Sensitize communities on QR code safekeeping.
Ensure the facility complies with national and Medical Team’s protocols, including infection prevention and control (IPC), waste management, and rational drug use.
Plan and lead regular staff meetings, clinical audits, and performance reviews to promote teamwork and accountability.
Manage medical supplies and ensure timely stock requests, accurate consumption tracking, and proper storage.
Lead data collection, HMIS reporting, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of health information and activity reports.
Support capacity building of staff through mentoring, coaching, and identification of training needs.
Liaise with local health authorities, community leaders, and partners to strengthen referral networks and community engagement.
Collaborate with Woreda Health Offices, WFP field monitors and and other health actors for effective referral systems, disease surveillance, and health campaigns.
Support emergency preparedness and response activities as needed.
Maintain staff performance evaluation, attendance, and ensure all staff are working in line with professional conduct of Medical Teams and MoH standards.
Serve as a role model in providing compassionate, respectful, and ethical healthcare.
Coordinate outreach and health promotion activities with the community and health extension workers.
Ensure rational use of drugs such that only essential medications are prescribed and avoid overprescription.
Ensure compassionate and respectful care will be provided to all patients who present to the clinic.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, disposing of waste and sharps appropriately.
Support the integration of accountability practices into program activities by following established procedures during planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting. Help ensure that accountability is reflected in day-to-day tasks, team interactions, and when working with partners or communities.
Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies. Incumbents will remain alert and responsive to any child and adult safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child and adult safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS
BSc in Public Health, Food Security, Rural Development, Nutrition, social science or other related fields
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 yrs direct experience in implementing cash assistance program, market analysis and economic recovery of which 2 years’ experience is in managing operation of nutrition services.
Working experience in INGO

Knowledge:
Knowledge of humanitarian standards, donors, systems and principles, e.g., Sphere, CHS, Red Cross Code of Conduct etc.
A basic understanding of health systems and Food Systems .
Knowledge of development & humanitarian issues and concepts
Fluent spoken and written Amharic and English.
Comfortable with report writing
Previous warehouse experience
Fluent spoken and written local language
