Position 1: Junior Inside Sales Officer

Purpose of the RoleĀ 

  • TheĀ Junior Inside Sales OfficerĀ supports Air, Ocean, and Ground Freight inside sales activities by assisting with ad-hoc and RFQ-based quotation requests. The role is responsible for preparing timely and accurate quotations in line with company pricing guidelines and commercial terms, while supporting sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and RFQ requests; prepare accurate and competitive quotations in accordance with company pricing guidelines and approved commercial terms.
  • Liaise with operations/ product and pricing teams to obtain required information on service feasibility, transit times, and cost components for quotation preparation.
  • Maintain and update sales records, quotation logs, and CRM systems; follow up on submitted quotations and support opportunity conversion activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid and tender submissions, including rate compilation, data gathering, and documentation support.
  • Provide prompt and professional customer service by maintaining regular communication with customers and addressing inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Support the preparation of weekly and monthly sales, quotation, and pipeline reports, highlighting key findings and performance trends.
  • Ensure all quotations, customer records, and sales documentation are accurately maintained and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the sales team in achieving revenue targets by identifying sales opportunities and escalating qualified leads to senior sales personnel where appropriate.
About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:Ā BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship experience is an advantage.
  • Experience:Ā 0 years of experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written & spoken English.
  • Solid analytical, quoting, and reporting capability,
  • Efficient user of quotation systems and MS Office tools.
  • Professional interpersonal communication.

Position 2: Assessment Officer

Ā Purpose of the Role

TheĀ Assessment OfficerĀ will be responsbile for receiving & reviwing the completeness & accurcacy of shipping documents, prepare draft declaration, notify duty amount to client, receive CPO & register declaration, and compile & submit the customs fulfillment documents alomg with other supporting documents for further processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify accuracy & completeness of shipping documents,
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international customs laws and proecdures,
  • Prepare & submit draft declaration for approval,
  • Notify approved duty & tax to client; follow-up & update new rate upon expiry of currency rate, and accordingly send revised duty and tax amount to client, if any
  • Register declaration,
  • Submit the compiled customs fulfillment documents to customer service team for further processing,
  • Maintain accurate digital records of all verified shipments and other supporting docuemnts on internal operation management system & Ethiopian Customs Management system.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:Ā BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Management, or other fields,
  • Experience:Ā Ā 2–3 years of direct expereince in assessment role

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of customs laws & procedures, HS codes, and incoterms,
  • Good ability to operate in Ethiopia’s customs trade portal system,
  • Strong problem Solving ability,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
  • Good ability in forwarder’s operation management system,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).,
  • High drive/self-motivation,
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and strong numeracy

Position 3: Operation Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations for air, ocean, and land transport,
  • Handle communications with clients by responding including sharing updates,
  • Review, and process shipping document,
  • Coordinate with customs team, carriers, and port agents to facilitate smooth cargo clearance,
  • Track shipments and provide proactive milestone updates to clients,
  • Resolve operational delays, transit issues, and customer complaints efficiently, and
  • Maintain accurate digital records of all shipments and operational costs on operation management system.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:Ā BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Management, or business related fields,
  • Experience:Ā Ā 2–3 years of direct operational experience within a freight forwarding company

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, & transport regulations, incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Strong problem Solving ability,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
  • Good ability in forwarder’s operation management system,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).,
  • High drive/self-motivation
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through under time pressure.
