Position: Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Task Breakdown: 

• Plan, organize, and supervise the day-to-day activities of the business organization.
• Develop and implement marketing and business growth strategies.
• Monitor work and employee performance and ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
• Prepare and submit timely operational and financial performance reports to management.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

Years of Experience: For Diploma holders, minimum of 3 years, and for Bachelor’s Degree holders, 0-year work experience.

Skills:

Technical Skills: Ability to develop strategic business plans and expand business development activities.

Soft Skills:

• Strong interest in business leadership and management skills.
• Attractive idea in marketing, production, sales, and negotiation skills
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good in business development, marketing, and customer relationship management.

Language Proficiency: Good oral communication and report-writing skills in English, Amharic, and Afan Oromo.

Knowledge:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and report-writing skills.

Education & Certifications

Educational Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or Business Management from a recognized institution.

Additional Information

• Salary: We offer a competitive salary that is Negotiable
• Work Location: This position is based at Addis Ababa, with frequent travel to operational areas like Adulala, Bahir Dar and Bedelle as required.
• Contract Type: This position is One-year contract with possible extension
