JaRco Consulting is a global consulting firm, founded in 2007, with locations in the United States and Ethiopia.
Since its inception, JaRco has offered technical assistance in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), along with data collection for both development and humanitarian initiatives.

Position: Finance Intern
Educations
- Recent BA degree graduates (from 2024 onwards) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CGPA: 3.25 & above
- Passed Exit exam
Technical Skills & Abilities :
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Familiarity with accounting software (Peachtree accounting software) is a plus.
- Understanding financial statements and accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
Behavioral Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Accuracy of financial record-keeping and data entry (target: 95% error-free).
- Timeliness of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Number of bank reconciliations completed on time.
- Support provided for audit and compliance activities.
- Contribution to budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Responsiveness and effectiveness in completing ad hoc tasks and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated learning and improvement in finance processes over the internship period.
