In 2015, ECDSWCo was established by a Federal Government Public Enterprise by Council of Ministers Regulation No. 365/2015 as a multi-disciplined engineering firm and provides professional services in water and energy, transport, building and urban planning and related disciplines. The corporation was founded by amalgamation of three former Public Enterprises, viz. Water Works Design and Supervision Enterprise (WWDSE), Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) and Transport Construction Design Share Company (TCDSCo) that were predominantly providing engineering consultancy services in water, building and transport sectors, respectively.
