Established in 2023, the platform connects consumers directly with smallholder farmers to provide fresh produce and essential household items at significantly lower prices.

- Group Buying: Users unlock bulk discounts (often 20%–50% off) by forming or joining groups with friends, family, or neighbors to purchase items together.
- Farm-to-Fork: The platform sources directly from over 150 farmers, bypassing traditional brokers to ensure better quality for consumers and higher revenues for producers.
- Kircha Inspiration: The model is inspired by the traditional Ethiopian Kircha system, where neighbors collectively buy livestock to share.
- Mobile App: Services are accessible via the ChipChip App on Android and iOS, featuring a user-friendly interface designed for the local market.

Position 1: Junior Accountant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates can apply).
- Basic knowledge of accounting and Ethiopian tax regulations.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Accountant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Key Expectations
- High ownership and accountability for assigned accounting areas.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with warehouse and operations teams.
