Berhan Insurance S.C. is one of the private insurance companies operating in the Ethiopian insurance market. It was established on October 30, 2010 with a paid up capital of Birr 9.7 Million, under proclamation No. 86/1994 by the initiation of Berhan Bank S.C and through the investment of 455 visionary founders.
Position 1: Content & Graphics Officer II
Experience:
Years of Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for degree holder, 5 years for diploma holder.
Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop & related Ability to produce content for digital, social media, & print materials.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles & web content systems.
- Proficiency in utilizing generative AI tools for asset (image, video) creation.
- Ability to create & edit video content
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields.
Position 2: Underwriting Supervisor (Life Insurance)
Experience:
Years of Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience as an underwriter
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Economics/Management/Statistics/Mathematics or related fields
Position 3: Accountant I
Experience:
Years of Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience for diploma, 2 years for BA degree
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: Diploma/BA/BSC/degree in finance, business management, accounting, management, banking, economics, financial management and related fields
Position 4: Underwriting Officer I
Experience:
Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 year of relevant insurance experience
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: BA/BSC degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Economics/Management or related fields
Position 5: Accounts Supervisor
Experience:
Years of Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience as an underwriter
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance or related field from a recognized University or College.
Position 6: Branch Manager I
Experience:
Years of Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in insurance operation of which 3 years in senior position
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ Economics/Management or related fields

Position 7: Executive Officer (EO), Finance & Investment
Experience:
Years of Experience: 11 years of experience for 1st degree and 8 years’ experience for 2nd degree holders, of which a minimum of 4 years of experience shall be in managerial capacity, insurance experience must be in any one or more of the core areas of general insurance operations.
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance/Business Administration & related.
Certifications: ACCA certified (preferable).
