Nib International Bank (NIB) was founded on 26 May 1999, operating under license no. LBB/007/99, in compliance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Proclamation for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business Proclamation no. 84/1994. The bank was established with a paid-up capital of birr 27.6 million and an authorized capital of birr 150 million, contributed by 717 shareholders.
The Bank began its operations on 28 October 1999 with a workforce of 27 employees, entering the banking sector as the sixth private bank to receive a license in the nation.

Educational Qualification

Work Experience
- 2 years of work experience in financial institutions, of which 1 year as Junior Banking Business Officer or other equivalent core business related positions.

6. Interest Free Banking Business (IFB) Supervisor
Educational Qualification
- MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields.
Work Experience
- 5/7 years of banking work experience, of which 2 years as Senior Interest Free Banking Officer or other equivalent related positions.
- Sharia knowledge has an advantage.
