Nib International Bank (NIB) was founded on 26 May 1999, operating under license no. LBB/007/99, in compliance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Proclamation for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business Proclamation no. 84/1994. The bank was established with a paid-up capital of birr 27.6 million and an authorized capital of birr 150 million, contributed by 717 shareholders.
The Bank began its operations on 28 October 1999 with a workforce of 27 employees, entering the banking sector as the sixth private bank to receive a license in the nation.

Position 1: Internal Control Officer
Qualification & Experience:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields of study.
3 years of banking work experience, of which 2 years as Jr. Branch Controller, CSO, Jr. CRO, or other equivalent core banking business-related positions.
Place of work: Newly to be Opened Mosho Branch (Under Jimma District)
Position 2: Banking Business Manager
Qualification & Experience:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields of study.
3 years of banking work experience, of which 1 year as BBO (CSO), Associate Branch Controller (Internal Control Officer), or 3 years as Jr. Branch Controller, Jr. CRO, or other equivalent core banking business-related positions.
Place of work: Newly to be Opened Mosho Branch (Under Jimma District)
Position 3: Branch Manager
Qualification & Experience:
- MA/B.A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related fields of study.
5–7 years of banking work experience, of which 2 years as Business Manager, Operation Manager, Customer Service Manager, or equivalent core banking business-related positions.
Place of work: Newly to be Opened Mosho Branch (Under Jimma District)
Position 4: Senior Hardware and Software Support Officer
Qualification & Experience:
- MSc/BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related fields of study.
4–6 years of relevant work experience, of which 2 years as Hardware and Software Support Officer or equivalent related positions.
