MOHA commands 52% of the market share within the country’s soft drinks sector. The production capacity of the plants has significantly increased due to the expansion and replacement of outdated machinery.
In addition to the initial acquisition cost of the Soft Drinks factory, MOHA has allocated Birr 8 million for the expansion of new projects, Birr 153 million for the refurbishment and replacement of current plants, and Birr 241 million for marketing and infrastructure, not including advertising and sponsorship costs.
