Additionally, it engages in marketing, distribution, and advertising, holding exclusive agency rights for all advertising and subscription activities related to the newspaper.
We are in search of a detail-oriented and precise Encoder to become a part of our team. In the role of Encoder, you will be tasked with the accurate input and organization of data within our systems. This position demands a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all information is entered correctly and consistently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing skills, be exceptionally organized, and have the capability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements and Qualifications
- § High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- § Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.).
- § Familiarity with data entry software and tools is a plus.
- § Excellent attention to detail, with a strong ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
- § Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- § Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- § Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- § Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- § Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- § Accurately encode data into the company database, ensuring that all information is entered correctly and in a timely manner.
- § Verify data by comparing it to source documents, and check for any discrepancies or errors before entry.
- § Organize and maintain files and databases, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- § Perform regular data entry tasks, including updating information, creating new records, and deleting obsolete ones.
- § Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
- § Identify and report any data-related issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- § Adhere to the company’s data entry and security policies, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of information.
- § Prioritize and meet deadlines for assigned tasks, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
