Business Unit Description


The Chief Shariah Financial Solutions Office (CSFSO) is responsible for designing, governing, and scaling Kifiya’s Shari’ah-compliant financial infrastructure and ecosystem platforms. The Office develops digitally enabled Islamic financial solutions that allow partner financial institutions, marketplaces, and ecosystem actors to deploy Shariah compliant, asset-backed, and ethically structured financing at scale. Leveraging Kifiya’s AI technology platforms, the Office structures and commercializes Shari’ah-compliant financial products and market solutions across areas such as SME and supply-chain finance, asset and device financing, embedded finance, marketplace ecosystems, and emerging Takaful and Islamic capital market instruments.

The Manager, Islamic Capital Market & Investment Solutions is responsible for structuring, mobilizing, and managing Shari’ah-compliant capital across Kifiya’s financial ecosystem.

The role leads the development of Islamic capital formation instruments including Sukuk, Wakalah investment pools, Shari’ah-compliant securitization structures, and blended finance vehicles that channel institutional and impact capital into MSME, agricultural, asset financing, and Takaful portfolios.

The Manager, Product Development & Planning leads the design, structuring, and lifecycle management of Shari’ah-compliant financial products deployed across the Chief Shariah Financial Solutions Office platforms.

The role is responsible for translating Islamic financial jurisprudence into commercially viable and digitally deployable financial products that support financing across SME, agriculture, asset financing, and marketplace ecosystems.

Operating as the financial structuring and product architecture function of the Office, the role ensures that all financial products maintain Shari’ah integrity, risk discipline, digital scalability, and alignment with institutional partner requirements.

The Manager works closely with institutional partnership teams, ecosystem platform teams, technology, risk, and Shari’ah governance functions to ensure that financial products are structured, certified, and operationalized effectively across partner institutions.


Key Responsibilities


Shari’ah Financial Product Structuring


• Design and standardize Shari’ah-compliant financial products including Murabaha, Ijarah, Salam, Musharakah, Wakalah, and hybrid structures.
• Translate Shari’ah board rulings and jurisprudential guidance into operational product frameworks.
• Develop standardized contract templates, pricing methodologies, and transaction workflows.
• Ensure product structures reflect genuine asset ownership, transparent profit mechanisms, and compliance with Shari’ah principles.

Multi-Sector Product Architecture


• Develop financing product frameworks across major financing pillars including:
o MSME working capital financing
o Agricultural Salam and value-chain financing
o Asset and equipment financing
o Marketplace and embedded finance structures
o Institutional financing pools using Wakalah structures
• Ensure structural coherence across all products to prevent fragmentation and maintain operational consistency.

Financial Structuring and Capital Efficiency


• Develop profit-rate methodologies aligned with Shari’ah principles and competitive market benchmarks.
• Structure financial products to optimize capital utilization across institutional financing pools.
• Support receivable structuring, securitization initiatives, and Islamic liquidity management frameworks.
• Collaborate with capital solutions teams on Sukuk enablement and Islamic capital market integration initiatives.

Digital Product Integration


• Translate financial product logic into digital workflows and platform requirements.
• Work with technology teams to embed Shari’ah-compliant transaction logic within digital financing infrastructure.
• Ensure automated validation of asset ownership, purchase documentation, and transaction traceability.
• Support integration of financial products into marketplace platforms and embedded finance systems.

Risk and Portfolio Integration


• Collaborate with credit risk and analytics teams to align financial structures with portfolio risk frameworks.
• Ensure product design incorporates risk segmentation, asset verification, and compliance monitoring mechanisms.
• Monitor product-level performance indicators including profit realization, delinquency patterns, and recovery structures.


Product Rollout and Operationalization


• Develop product rollout strategies across partner financial institutions and ecosystem platforms.
• Establish Shari’ah-compliant operational procedures covering origination, documentation, asset validation, and collections.
• Support training and capacity building for partner institutions implementing the products.

Governance, Compliance and Documentation


• Work closely with the Shari’ah governance function to secure product certification prior to commercialization.
• Maintain product documentation including Shari’ah rulings, operational procedures, and compliance logs.
• Support Shari’ah audit processes and remediation of compliance findings.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks and international standards such as AAOIFI and IFSB.

Product Performance Monitoring


• Track performance indicators across all financial products including:
o Revenue and profit realization
o Portfolio at risk
o Capital utilization efficiency
o Product adoption and renewal
o Compliance integrity
• Continuously refine pricing models, segmentation strategies, and structuring approaches based on performance insights.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Islamic banking, Islamic fintech, or Shari’ah-compliant financial structuring.

Position 7: Manager, Takaful Solutions

Position Summary


The Manager, Takaful Solutions is responsible for the design, structuring, integration, and commercialization of Shari’ah-compliant risk protection solutions across Kifiya’s financial ecosystem.

The role establishes the risk-sharing architecture of the Shari’ah Financial Solutions platform, ensuring that all financing activities across MSME, agriculture, asset financing, and marketplace ecosystems are supported by sustainable, compliant, and digitally embedded Takaful mechanisms.

The Manager translates Islamic insurance principles into scalable, technology-enabled solutions that enhance portfolio resilience, customer protection, and institutional partner confidence, while ensuring alignment with Shari’ah governance standards and risk sustainability frameworks.

Key Responsibilities


Takaful Product Structuring and Architecture


• Design and standardize Takaful models including:
o General Takaful (asset and device protection)
o Credit Takaful (financing protection)
o Agricultural and climate Takaful
o Family Takaful (where applicable)
o Hybrid Wakalah and Mudarabah-based structures
• Define participant risk pools, surplus distribution mechanisms, and operator fee models.
• Translate Shari’ah rulings into operational Takaful product frameworks, contracts, and documentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with AAOIFI standards and globally accepted Shari’ah governance practices.

Integration with Financing Platforms


• Embed Takaful solutions across financing structures including:
o Murabaha and Ijarah financing

• Ensure Takaful processes are fully embedded within Kifiya’s digital infrastructure including:

Shari’ah Governance and Compliance


• Work closely with the Shari’ah governance function to ensure certification and compliance of all Takaful products.

• Ensure transparency in participant agreements and risk-sharing disclosures.

Commercialization and Performance Management

Position Summary


The Manager, Institutional Partnerships and Growth is responsible for managing and scaling Kifiya’s institutional relationships with financial institutions and ecosystem partners participating in the Shari’ah-Compliant Financial Solutions platform.

The role oversees the commercial growth, operational deployment, and performance management of partner institutions implementing Shari’ah-compliant financial solutions across Kifiya’s digital platforms. This includes coordinating product rollouts, managing financing portfolio performance, optimizing liquidity utilization, and ensuring partner institutions operate within approved Shari’ah governance and risk frameworks.

Working closely with product, technology, risk, and Shari’ah governance teams, the Manager ensures that institutional partnerships translate into sustainable financing growth, disciplined portfolio performance, and scalable ecosystem expansion aligned with the Office’s strategic mandate.

Key Responsibilities


Institutional Partnership Development


• Manage strategic relationships with assigned partner financial institutions including full-fledged Islamic banks, conventional banks with IFB windows, MFIs, and development finance partners.
• Support the acquisition and onboarding of new institutional partners aligned with the Office’s expansion strategy.
• Develop partnership engagement frameworks including commercial agreements, collaboration models, and growth roadmaps.
• Maintain structured engagement with partner executives, operational teams, risk functions, and Shari’ah governance structures.


Institutional Growth and Commercial Performance


• Drive financing growth, revenue generation, and liquidity deployment across assigned partner institutions.

Cross-Functional Institutional Coordination


• Represent the voice of partner institutions internally across Technology, Product Development, Risk, and Capital Solutions teams.
• Translate institutional feedback into product improvements and platform enhancements.
• Facilitate smooth coordination between commercial teams and operational functions to ensure successful partner implementation.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting


• Maintain structured institutional performance dashboards and operational reporting systems.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting growth trends, risks, and strategic opportunities.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the Director and senior leadership.


Team Supervision and Institutional Capability Development
