K.Mikedem General Import and Export, along with its affiliated companies (KKGW, KROTAJ, and PORCHLIGHT), is seeking qualified candidates for the following job position.
For over twenty years, our company has been actively involved in a successful import and export business in Ethiopia, specializing in the export of sesame, oilseeds, and spices.
Our company operates under a core social responsibility model that is integrated into its business practices. Additionally, we are the leading importer of home supply materials, particularly Media Electronics, from various countries.
POSITION: ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Education:
- Industrial electrical and electronics control technology, Electrical automation and control technology, Electrical/Electronic equipment servicing and related fields with COC level 3 and above.
Experience:
- A minimum of 0 year experience in assembly/production processes or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble and install electrical components and systems, including machinery, equipment, and electrical systems.
- Follow standards, read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
- RCA for problems, troubleshoot electrical issues, perform repairs and keep accurate records of work performed.
- Carryout required maintenance types on equipment and systems.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following GMP, safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work with team members and other departments as needed to ensure that assembly priorities such as: safety, quality, production, and delivery, are fulfilled.
Skills: Reading schematics and blueprints, using various power and hand tools, Problem-Solving and troubleshooting/repair procedures, teamwork and communication.
Knowledge: Electrical knowledge, fundamentals, assembly techniques.
