Since its inception, JaRco has offered technical assistance in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), along with data collection for both development and humanitarian initiatives.

We specialize in a diverse array of services—including qualitative and quantitative research, the design of monitoring and evaluation systems, capacity building, and technical support.

Position 1: Data Collectors /Enumerators

Required Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/BA) in Health Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Sociology, anthropology, Education and Public Health or related disciplines.
  • This group often brings strong familiarity with digital data collection tools and fieldwork practices while remaining well suited to the intensive fieldwork schedules required during survey implementation.
  • CGPA: 3.25 and Above
  • Exit exam result: 65% & above

Work Experience

  • ideally early to mid-career field researchers, typically with up to six years of experience in survey data collection or field research
  • Experience in household data collection is desirable.
  • Strong familiarity with digital data collection tools and fieldwork practices,”using CommCare Software is preferred.
  • Youth below the age of 35 are highly encouraged to apply.

Position 2: Qualitative Researcher

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree (MPH/MA) or PhD in one of the following fields: Public Health, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences and Development Studies
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in qualitative research for Masters and 2 years for PhD.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting KII, IDI, and FGD in research settings.
  • Experience in qualitative data analysis and report writing.

  • Strong interviewing and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with respondents and manage sensitive discussions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative data interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of research ethics and confidentiality practices.
  • Good understanding of local culture, community dynamics, and social contexts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team.

Position 3: Field Supervisors

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of BA/BSc Degree in Public Health, Economics, Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, Rural development, Business Administration or related disciplines.

Work Experience

  • Extensive experience in field research and team coordination, ideally more than six years of experience in data collection and supervision of survey teams.
  • Proven experience in household survey supervision and field coordination.
  • Experience using digital data collection systems such as CommCare, KoBoToolbox, or similar platforms.
