Essey Saving and Credit Cooperative Association (often spelled Essay) is a formal financial cooperative institution located on Meskel Flower Road in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Operating within Ethiopia’s expanding cooperative sector, it functions as a member-owned microfinance vehicle designed to mobilize community savings and provide accessible credit products
Essay Savings and Credit Cooperative Association would like to recruit professionals who meet the following qualifications and criteria.
Position 1: Saving and Resource Mobilization Officer
Education
- MA or BA Degree in: Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Cooperative Management, Project Management, Business Administration Or related fields
Experience
- MA Degree holders: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- BA Degree holders: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Marketing and customer relationship management skills.
- Resource mobilization and business development skills.
- Good report writing and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Salary: According to the organization’s scale
Location: Debre Birhan, Bahirdar, Dessie
Position 2: Branch Manager
Requirements
- Education: M.A. or B.A. Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Cooperative Business, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 4/6 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or responsible position within a financial institution or a related area.
- Gender: Female/Male (i.e., all genders are welcome to apply).
