Position : Junior Disbursement Accountant

 

The Junior Disbursement Officer plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of Digaf & Micro-Credit Provider SC. This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates interested in accounting and finance. The role involves processing disbursements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The Junior Disbursement Officer will work in an office environment located in Addis Ababa, contributing to the overall efficiency of the financial department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing disbursement requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to verify and validate disbursement information.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for management review.
  • Monitor and track disbursement transactions to identify discrepancies.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding disbursement processes and policies.
  • Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Contribute to team meetings and provide insights on process improvements.
  • Support other accounting and finance activities as assigned.
