As a state-owned enterprise (SOE), Ethiopost is responsible for the development and enhancement of postal services within the country. It functions as the designated postal operator (DPO), delivering postal services across Ethiopian territory to meet the government’s universal service obligation (USO).

Position 1: Junior Sales Officer

Qualifications:

 

Education and Experience: degree in BA/BSC, Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Address their queries, concerns, and provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Offer accurate and up-to-date information about the organization, its services, products, or events. Stay informed about relevant updates and changes to ensure the information provided is current.
  • Support the sales team in the entire sales process, including preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Assist in maintaining sales records, preparing sales reports, and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance. Provide insights to the sales team for continuous improvement.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Finance Supervisor

Education and Experience: Degree in accounting and finance with 3 years of experience

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities within the district, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads and management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for the district. Ensure that budgets align with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations for district management and corporate headquarters. Conduct regular financial analysis to provide insights into business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Implement internal controls and risk management procedures to safeguard assets and prevent financial irregularities.
  • Lead and supervise the district finance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Location: Hawassa and Dessie

Position 3: Contract and Counseling Manager

Education and Experience: degree in LLB with 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing policies and corporate governance documentation.
  • Conducting extensive legal research based on client needs and questions to provide accurate and timely advice.
  • Establishing contracts for service agreements between clients and suppliers.
