China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is currently recruiting fresh graduates and experienced candidates to join its Ethiopian Branch Projects.

Position 1: Junior Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare architectural working drawings and detailed design plans
  • Develop BOQs and construction documentation
  • Ensure all designs meet Ethiopian building codes and work standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers during planning and execution phases
  • Apply creativity and technical knowledge to design practical and innovative solutions
  • Use advanced software tools to produce 2D/3D architectural visualizations
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Engineering
  • Additional certifications or training in architectural design software is an asset

Work Experience:

  • Less than 5years of relevant experience in architectural design (Junior-level).
  • Applicants 0-3years of experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Proven involvement in design projects for offices, hospitals, banks, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Ethiopian architectural standards and construction practices

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Good understanding of building codes, materials, and structural principles
  • Strong visualization, drawing, and presentation skills
  • Effective time management and project coordination skills
  • Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to follow work directives
  • Ability to speak Chinese is a plus

Position 2: Human Resource Officer

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Initiatives & Systems Development:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the recruitment process.

2. Employment Process Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the employment process, from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Provide counseling on HR policies and procedures.

3. Legal Compliance & Working Conditions:

  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure full compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information and HR records.

4. Accurate Employee Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records for each employee, including personal details, employment history, attendance, payroll, performance reviews, training, and benefits.
  • Ensure record retention complies with Ethiopian legal requirements (typically a minimum of five years).

5. Performance Evaluation:

  • Develop and implement a standardized process for evaluating employee performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, work quality, teamwork, punctuality, and initiative.
  • Schedule evaluations on an annual, quarterly, or probationary basis, and document all evaluation details securely.

6. Bonus & Salary Increment Policies:

  • Establish a performance-based bonus system (including performance bonuses, annual bonuses, profit-sharing, and festival bonuses).
  • Define clear guidelines for salary increments based on annual performance reviews, promotions, and cost-of-living adjustments.

7. Digital HR Systems:

  • Utilize HR management software to streamline record-keeping, performance tracking, and bonus management.
  • Ensure that all digital systems comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.

  • Experience:5 years of relevant work experience in Management In Design Company
  • Professional registration with the appropriate institute is required.

Human Resource Officer Recruitment

  • Has experience in Designing and drawing Sprinkling System, Sewerage System and Domestic Water Pipe System.

Position 4: Mechanical Engineer

Qualification and Experience

  • Bsc or Msc in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years relevant work experience

  • Familiar with the design standard of Ethiopia.
  • Be able to use the office software and design software to do the works.
  • has Experience in Design and Drawing of Air Condition, Ventilation, Gas Fire Extinguisher System and Firefighting System.
  • Good English Communication and writing Skills

Position 5: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design and prepare technical documentation for electrical systems in buildings
  • Develop power supply and distribution systems (for Power System Design role)
  • Design IT network systems, weak current systems, Data Centers, and BMS systems (for IT System Design role)
  • Prepare detailed electrical drawings using CAD and other engineering software
  • Ensure all designs meet Ethiopian design standards, codes, and safety requirements
  • Lead coordination efforts with other design disciplines for fully integrated project solutions
  • Participate in technical reviews, project meetings, and provide expert guidance to junior engineers

Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in electrical design
  • Holds a PPEE certificate (Professional Practice of Electrical Engineering)
  • Skilled in both power system design and weak current system design
  • Extensive experience in designing large-scale office buildings
  • Proven ability to independently complete entire project designs
  • Familiar with Ethiopian electrical and construction standards
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design and analysis software
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills in English
  • Team-oriented, disciplined, and capable of leading design tasks
