Position 1: Senior Security Operation Center Officer (Re – Advertized)Â

You will be responsible for…
- Investigate and respond to cyber security incident and suspicious activity.
- Conduct threat hunting and security monitoring activities.
- Analyze cyber threats, vulnerability, and attack pattern
- Support incident response and recovery processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams during security investigation
- Provide Support and Guidance to SOC Officers when necessary.
What we need from you
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Location: Addis Ababa
Expectations: High operational accuracy and strict adherence to NBE standards.
- Education Qualification:-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with practical experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, security event monitoring and analysis, threat detection, incident investigation and response, SIEM monitoring and log analysis, malware investigation, vulnerability management, and endpoint and network security monitoring. The candidate should have the ability to analyze complex security events, investigate potential threats, and support effective incident containment and remediation. Position 2: Security Operation Center Officer (Re – Advertized)Â
You will be responsible for…
- Monitor security events and alerts through SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, network security devices, and other monitoring platforms.
- Analyze and investigate security alerts to distinguish legitimate activities from potential cybersecurity threats.
- Identify suspicious activities, indicators of compromise, unauthorized access attempts, malware, and other security events.
- Escalate confirmed and high-risk incidents according to approved SOC procedures and service level requirements.
- Support incident containment, remediation, and recovery activities in coordination with relevant technology teams.
