Abay Bank S.C. invites interested and qualified applicants:
Position 1: Customer Service Officer–II (CSO-II)
Required Qualification: BA degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration & Development Management, or related fields of study.
Experience: Zero years of work experience.
Graduation Year: Only applicants who graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 G.C. are eligible.
Additional Requirement: Applicants must have passed the national exit examination.
CGPA: Female applicants: 2.75 and above; Male applicants: 3.00 and above.
Age: Below 30 years.
Salary: According to the Bank’s salary scale.
Place of Work: All branches of Abay Bank.
Position 2: Security Guard / Escort
Required Qualification: Completion of the former Grade 12 or the new Grade 10.
Experience: At least 6 years of service in the military or police force. Applicants must provide official proof of honorable discharge.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have no criminal record and demonstrate good conduct.
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
- Must have received police or military training.
- Must have adequate knowledge of firearm use and handling.
- Must not have been dismissed from the police or military due to disciplinary problems.
- Must be free from any form of addiction.
Age: Not older than 40 years.
Place of Work: Abay Bank Head Office, Addis Ababa, with frequent field assignments; and Bahir Dar District, Bahir Dar.
Position 3: Branch Manager – Grade 1
Required Qualification: BA degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field of study.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of work experience in banking operations, of which 2 years must be in a supervisory position.
Place of Work: Haji Aliyu Branch and Bale Robe Branches under Hawassa District.
Position 4: Manager – Interest Free Banking
Required Qualification: MA/BA degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years for MA holders or 10 years for BA holders in banking operations, including senior Interest-Free Banking (IFB) experience. The original announcement states “two (4) years” for the senior IFB requirement, which is inconsistent and should be confirmed with the bank.
Salary: As per the Bank’s scale.
Place of Work: Adama District Office.
