Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.
The Bank is poised to serve all economic sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services, international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction and real estate sectors.
Position 1: Administrative Assistant
Education/Qualification:
- BA Degree or Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or Administrative Service Management.
Experience:
- BA Degree holders: 2 years of related work experience.
- Diploma holders: 4 years of related work experience.
Location: Head Office
Position 2: Branch Manager – Grade 1
Education/Qualification:
- BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in banking operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
Location: Branches under Addis Ababa area
Position 3: Branch Manager – Grade 1
Education/Qualification:
- BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in banking operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
Location: Branches under Diredawa District, including Kulbi, Deder, Fugna Bira (East Hararge), Daruselam, and Aksa IFB (Jigjiga)
Language Preference: For Deder and Fugna Bira Branches, speaking and writing Afan Oromo is preferable.
Position 4: Branch Manager – Grade 2
Education/Qualification:
- BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in banking operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
Location: Mersa Branch
Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale
