Position: IT Technical Support Advisor
Qualification:
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Communication Technology, or a related field.
- No work experience is required.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of common software applications and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems is preferable.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good customer-service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with technology trends.
Relevant Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Cisco Certified Networking, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certifications are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for common software applications and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware components and technical issues.
- Provide support for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Work with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
- Apply basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
