Position: Training and Development Officer

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Education, Organizational Development.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct professional experience as a Training & Development Officer, Learning & Development Expert, or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
    • Individual and departmental skills gap analysis
    • Organizational training needs assessment
    • Training planning and coordination
    • Training material development
    • Training facilitation and delivery
    • Post-training evaluation
    • Training effectiveness assessment
    • Training reporting and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training management tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple training activities and work effectively with employees and managers at different organizational levels.
  • Experience designing and developing a variety of learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and virtual training programs.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners of all levels.
  • A passion for learning and development and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
