Nib International Bank (NIB) was founded on May 26, 1999, under license number LBB/007/99, in compliance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Proclamation for Licensing and Supervision of Banking Business Proclamation No. 84/1994. Position 1: Office Furniture Technician II
Location: Head Office
Education:
- Diploma/TVET Level IV or TVET Level III–IV Certificate in Wood Technology or related fields.
Experience:
- 4/6 years of relevant work experience respectively.
- Of which 3/4 years must be as Office Furniture Technician I, Wood Worker, or related positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair office furniture.
- Perform woodwork and furniture installation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office furnishings.
- Support office renovation and furnishing activities.
Position 2: Electro-Mechanical Technician II
Location: Head Office
Education:
- BSc Degree, Diploma, or TVET Level IV in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Electronics Technology, or related fields.
Experience:
- 2/4 years of relevant work experience respectively.
- Of which 1/3 years must be as Electro-Mechanical Technician I.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Support facility operations and technical installations.
Position 3: Banking Business Manager I
Location: Newly Opened Goro Bole Branch, Adama District
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Experience:
- 3 years of banking work experience.
- Of which 2 years as BBO (CSO), Associate Branch Controller (Internal Control Officer I), or equivalent banking positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage branch business operations.
- Mobilize deposits and expand customer relationships.
- Monitor branch performance.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Position 4: Branch Manager I
Location: Werko Branch, Adama District
Education:
- MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Experience:
- 5/7 years of banking work experience.
- Of which 2 years as Business Manager, Operation Manager, Customer Service Manager, or equivalent positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead branch operations and staff.
- Drive business growth and profitability.
- Ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Manage customer service excellence.
Position 5: Strategy Implementation and Follow-Up Supervisor
Location: Mekelle District Office
Education:
- MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
Experience:
- 5/7 years of banking work experience.
- Of which 2 years as Senior Planning and Monitoring Officer or equivalent related positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor implementation of strategic plans.
- Track organizational performance indicators.
- Prepare strategic progress reports.
- Coordinate follow-up activities across departments.
