Kifiya Financial Technologies is hiring qualified applicants for the position of Technical Field Support Officer. This role supports the implementation of the E-Voucher system in various zones by providing field-level technical assistance, training, and troubleshooting.

Job Summary

The Technical Field Support Officer will coordinate, implement, and support the E-Voucher digital system in assigned regions. The role requires providing on-site technical assistance, conducting training, resolving technical issues, delivering awareness campaigns, and working closely with partners to ensure smooth digital service operations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and Coordinate E-Voucher Implementation

  • Provide field-level leadership and day-to-day operational support.
  • Troubleshoot technical, operational, and logistical issues.
  • Manage distribution and activation of E-Vouchers and assigned devices.
  • Conduct awareness campaigns with MFIs, MPCs, and agricultural experts.
  • Ensure all eligible farmers are registered and able to use the system.
  • Collect and analyze data on voucher distribution and redemption.
  • Monitor compliance and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure stable system performance.
  • Oversee routine maintenance of devices and systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.

2. Mobile Application Support & Troubleshooting

  • Install, configure, and demonstrate the E-Voucher mobile app for MFI Agents and MPC Officers.
  • Ensure all mobile devices are correctly configured.
  • Monitor system performance and compile technical reports.
  • Register and verify end users accurately.
  • Identify challenges and escalate issues to the Regional Manager when needed.

3. Training & Capacity Building

  • Train newly recruited MFI Agents, Cashiers, and MPC Officers.
  • Deliver continuous support and refresher training sessions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and build user capacity.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct awareness campaigns with MFIs, MPCs, and agricultural experts.
  • Collaborate with Zone and Woreda technical committees.
  • Maintain strong communication with users and stakeholders.
  • Address beneficiaries’ questions regarding e-voucher usage and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • BA Degree in any field (preference for IT or Computer Science graduates).
  • Experience: No previous work experience required (0 years).
