Summary: Habesha Breweries S.C. is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Jimma West Region. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in FMCG managerial roles. The RSM will lead regional sales teams, manage distributors, ensure product availability, and drive sales growth according to the company’s Route-to-Market strategy. Responsibilities include coaching staff, monitoring performance, implementing pricing strategies, and strengthening customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Capability

• Monitor regional team performance and motivate staff to exceed targets.
• Lead by example, fostering ownership and accountability.
• Encourage innovation and new approaches within the team.
• Conduct regular one-on-one performance conversations and coaching.
• Develop capabilities of sales staff and distributor teams via on-the-job training.

Distributor Management & Route-to-Market (RTM)

• Implement and monitor the company’s RTM strategy with distributors/agents.
• Ensure consistent product availability and distribution.
• Expand and maintain regional customer base.
• Create, review, and manage sales staff and distributor delivery schedules.
• Maintain strong B2B relationships and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent product stock-outs.

Business Performance & Execution

• Track sales targets vs. actuals for both staff and distributors daily.
• Achieve sustainable growth and sales targets per RTM standards.
• Execute regional sales plans and pricing strategies.
• Manage resources including vehicles, mobile devices, and sales systems.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of fridges and POS materials.

Customer Relationship Management

• Act as primary contact for internal and external customers.
• Foster a culture of strong customer relationships across the region.
• Handle complaints and product quality queries promptly.
• Support team members to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Engage with community projects aligned with business goals.

Planning & Administration

• Plan and organize personal and team schedules effectively.
• Prepare sales updates, presentations, and business proposals.
• Manage regional budgets and submit timely expense reports.
• Maintain database integrity and ensure proper use of sales systems.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate business updates to regional teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• MA/BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
• 4–6 years of relevant sales experience, with at least 2 years in managerial roles in FMCG.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills.
• Proven ability in business development, team management, and effective communication.
