NEBE Internship Vacancy 2025 – Legal Intern (Fresh Graduate Opportunity)

The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is the constitutionally mandated institution responsible for administering national elections, organizing referenda, and regulating political parties in Ethiopia. Re-established under Proclamation No. 1133/2011, the Board continues to strengthen its institutional capacity through talent development and human resource enhancement.

NEBE is now inviting qualified fresh graduates to apply for the position of Legal Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for young legal professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in electoral law, conflict resolution, and legal case management.


Position: Legal Intern

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • 0–1 year work experience (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities

Role Summary

The Legal Intern will support NEBE in managing and processing electoral complaints submitted to the institution. The role requires strong analytical skills, legal knowledge, and an understanding of dispute resolution mechanisms. Interns will contribute to maintaining the integrity of the electoral process through effective case handling and documentation.

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Salary: As per NEBE’s salary scale
  • Duty Station: NEBE Head Office, Addis Ababa
