Medical Teams International is seeking a motivated Female HR Intern to support Human Resource operations at the Gondar office. This internship is ideal for recent graduates holding a BA in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related social sciences. The intern will manage personnel files, support HR administration, facilitate staff medical insurance, assist with events, and promote safeguarding compliance. Strong communication, confidentiality, organization, and basic computer skills are required. The role includes occasional travel to remote health facilities. Apply by December 12, 2025.

Job Summary

The HR Intern will assist with day-to-day HR tasks in the Gondar office. The role suits an energetic and disciplined female graduate who will work closely with the HR Officer to support documentation, communication, and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidential personnel files for active and former employees.
  • Fill out HR-related forms and documentation.
  • Facilitate staff medical insurance processes.
  • Scan, copy, and archive HR documents.
  • Answer office calls and relay messages professionally.
  • Support HR events including orientations and staff activities.
  • Assist other departments as required.
  • Promote safeguarding and adhere to organizational conduct policies.

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Female graduates of 2014 or 2015 E.C. only.
  • No work experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic HR knowledge and strong interpersonal communication.
  • Excellent written and spoken Amharic & English.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and basic databases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

Work Conditions

May require travel to remote health facilities with basic living conditions.
