MdM Ethiopia is hiring for multiple positions in Dehas & Wachile Woredas (Oromia Region) and Hudet Woreda (Somali Region). These are contract positions with immediate availability, offering the opportunity to work in dynamic humanitarian health programs.

1. Medical Supervisor

Positions: 1
Career Level: Senior / Mid-Level
Reports to: Health Program Manager
Responsibilities:

• Supervise all health program activities in designated woredas.
• Ensure quality healthcare service delivery according to MoH & WHO protocols.
• Support health staff capacity building and mentoring.
• Monitor medical supply management, referral processes, and infection prevention.
• Compile and submit monthly activity reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience, preferably in emergency settings.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

2. Health Officer

Positions: 2

Reports to: Medical Supervisor
Responsibilities:

• Provide curative and preventive healthcare in health centers and mobile clinics.
• Ensure adherence to MoH and WHO protocols.
• Facilitate training and mentoring of health staff.
• Manage patient records, rational use of medicines, and referral coordination.
• Support emergency preparedness and outbreak surveillance.

• Mentor and coach health staff on IPC, drug administration, and standard protocols.

• Manage obstetric emergencies and maternal care at health centers.

• Report maternal and neonatal deaths and track referrals to CEmONC hospitals.
