Organizational Overview
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by Proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated institution responsible for conducting elections, organizing referendums, and regulating political parties in Ethiopia.
As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity—particularly in human resources—NEBE is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Junior Graphics Design Expert I.
Position Details
Position Title: Junior Graphics Design Expert I

Job Summary
The Junior Graphics Design Expert will combine artistic creativity with technical skills to produce high-quality graphic designs aligned with NEBE’s communication objectives and brand identity.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Develop creative concepts and visual styles for various communication and marketing projects.
Produce branded materials including brochures, posters, banners, social media content, infographics, presentations, and other promotional designs.
Collaborate with video editors and animators to incorporate graphics into multimedia content.
Ensure all designs are optimized for digital platforms and user experience.
Work closely with marketing and communication teams to align designs with campaign goals and target audiences.
Stay informed about current design trends, tools, and best practices.
Assist the Social Media & Graphic Designer as needed.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Communications Manager.
About You — Qualification Requirements
Education & Experience
MA or BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Media, or related fields.
Experience:
0 years for MA holders
3 years for BA holders
Mandatory Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of layout, color theory, and typography.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
Creativity and artistic ability.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
