Available Positions

Position 1: Sales Agent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields
• Proven sales experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork and independent working ability
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proactive and goal-oriented mindset

Position 2: Graphics Designer

Requirements

• Experience as a Graphics Designer or similar role
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong creative portfolio
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in an organized manner
• Knowledge of print and digital media is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields
• Experience in motion graphics or video editing
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles

Position 3: Research Editor

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong time management, leadership, and communication skills
• Minimum one year of relevant research or editorial experience
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Position 4: Reporters

Requirements

• Strong passion for journalism
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Excellent English writing and communication skills
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure newsroom
• Critical thinking and attention to detail

Position 5: Assignment Editor

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Journalism, Communications, or related social sciences
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Amharic is an added advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
• Minimum one year of relevant editorial experience
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Position 6: Editor-in-Chief

Required Qualifications

• Full fluency in English
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced newsroom
• Strong content management, copy-editing, and production oversight experience
• Proven managerial and leadership background
• Excellent writing skills and ability to craft high-impact stories
• Strong analytical thinking and sector knowledge, especially in business
• Ability to coordinate special reports and guide editorial strategy

Position 7: Deputy Editor-in-Chief

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related fields
• Editorial leadership experience preferred
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Knowledge of digital publishing and social media
• Fluency in English
• Strong research background in policy-making (monetary & fiscal policy)
• Ability to identify impactful stories

Position 8: Data Encoder

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with data entry tools is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
