  1. Senior Procurement Officer (SPO)

    Key Responsibilities / Job Duties

    • Plan, coordinate, and implement all procurement activities in line with internal policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
    • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans in collaboration with budget holders and project teams.
    • Manage competitive procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, and contract award, in coordination with the Procurement Committee.
    • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring value for money and compliance with organizational standards.
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable procurement records for internal, donor, and external audits.
    • Monitor supplier performance, manage vendor databases, and conduct due diligence as required.
    • Analyze market trends to support cost efficiency and risk mitigation across supply chains.
    • Prepare regular procurement reports, spending analyses, and status updates for senior management.
    • Provide procurement training and technical support to staff and supervise Purchasing Officers.
    • Ensure safeguarding, asset management, and inventory protocols are integrated into procurement processes.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • BA/BSc degree in Procurement and Supply Management, Materials Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
    • Prior experience working with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).
    • Experience working with vulnerable children and families is preferred.
