Role Overview

The Import Controller will coordinate the full lifecycle of imported materials—beginning from purchase requisition to on-time site delivery. The role requires close collaboration with banks, insurance providers, clearing agents, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all import documentation and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and register Proforma Invoices (PFIs), follow up approval processes, and ensure accuracy of supplier documents.
  • Prepare and process insurance applications, CAD/LC forms, and foreign currency requests.
  • Manage bank approvals using both hard copy and One Window systems.
  • Facilitate payments, collect receipts, and reconcile foreign purchase transactions with Finance.
  • Oversee shipment processes, coordinate with clearing companies, and ensure timely collection of shipping documents.
  • Verify duties and taxes, follow up on duty-free and pre-import permits, and ensure compliance with government requirements.
  • Maintain complete import files for traceability and reporting.
  • Provide weekly reports on bank approvals, order status, and import progress.
  • Handle insurance claims, foreign currency settlements, and purchase returns.
  • Support continuous process improvement and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.

Requirements

2. Technician – Electrical

The Electrical Technician will ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution of maintenance activities across the facility. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and supporting operational teams to sustain equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Perform all maintenance tasks safely and in alignment with LOTO and food safety (HACCP) standards.
