The Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE) has announced several new job opportunities for qualified and motivated applicants. ESLSE was formed through the merger of four major organizations in Ethiopia’s maritime and logistics sector: Ethiopian Shipping Lines S.C., Ethiopian Maritime and Transit Service Enterprise, Dry Port Enterprise, and Comet Transport S.C. The consolidation created a stronger and more efficient national logistics operator, serving both domestic and international markets.

Below are the latest open positions and their requirements.

1. Store Keeper I

Education: Diploma or Level IV with COC in Purchasing, Marketing, Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology
Experience: Not required (experience must be after graduation)
Location: Addis Ababa – Kality, Mile
Salary: According to the enterprise scale and benefits package

2. Junior General Mechanic

Education: Diploma/Level IV/Level III with COC in Auto Mechanics
Experience: 2–4 years relevant experience
Location: Addis Ababa – Kality
Salary: As per enterprise salary scale

3. Fuel & Lubricant Officer

Education: BA Degree, Diploma, or Level IV with COC in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Management
Experience: 2–4 years relevant work experience
Location: Addis Ababa – Kality

4. Fuel & Lubricant Distributor

Education: Diploma/Level IV with COC in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Management
Experience: 0–2 years relevant experience

5. Tyre Control & Record Officer

Education: BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Management
Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience

6. Deck Boy

Education: Level IV with COC in Automotive Technology, General Mechanics, Woodwork, Construction, Manufacturing, Garment & Textile, Welding/Fitting, Surveying, or Plumbing

7. Assistant Engineer

Education: BSc in Mechanical, Automotive, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
Experience: Not required

8. Assistant Officer

Education: BED in Physics/Mathematics or BSc in Computer Science, Applied Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or Construction-related fields
