Ethiopian Railways Corporation (ERC) invites fresh graduates and experienced professionals to apply for various vacant positions.

ERC is the national railway operator of Ethiopia, established in 2007 under Regulation No. 141/2007. The Corporation is mandated to develop railway infrastructure and provide both passenger and freight transport services across the country.

1. Senior Transport Coordinator (1)

• Education: MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, Fleet Management, or related fields
• Experience: 4/6 years relevant experience

2. Senior Mechanical Engineer (1)

• Education: MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related
• Experience: 4/6 years relevant experience

3. Senior Equipment Inspector & Estimator (1)

• Education: MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related
• Experience: 4/6 years relevant experience

4. Senior Machinery & Vehicle Supervisor (1)

• Education: MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related
• Experience: 4/6 years in design quality assurance

5. Maintenance Supervisor/Foreman (1)

• Education: BA Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
• Experience: 6/8 years in equipment maintenance

6. Senior Office Engineer – Head Office & Project (6)

• Education: BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience: 3 years (project follow-up preferred)

7. Senior Mechanic (1)

• Education: Level IV in Mechanical Technology or related
• Experience: 6 years, especially in heavy equipment repair

8. Body Man / Welder (1)

• Education: Level IV in Welding
• Experience: 4 years relevant experience

9. Electrician (1)

• Education: Diploma in General Electricity
• Experience: 4 years in electrical maintenance/repair (heavy trucks preferred)

10. Tire Technician (1)

• Education: Grade 10/12 completed
• Experience: 3+ years in heavy truck tire services

11. Assistant Mechanic (1)

• Education: Level III technical school
• Experience: 2 years in heavy truck maintenance

12. Labor Workers (4)

• Education: Grade 10/12 completed
• Experience: 1+ year in heavy garage work

13. Lab Technician (1)

• Education: BSc/Level V in Construction Materials, Civil Engineering, or related
• Experience: 2/4 years (batching plant experience preferred)

14. Tools Man (1)

• Education: Level II in Mechanics
• Experience: 2 years (heavy truck maintenance preferred)

15. Supervisor / Foreman (1)

• Education: BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related
• Experience: 4 years in construction materials quality assurance

16. Marketing Expert (1)

• Education: BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related
• Experience: 5 years experience (construction industry preferred)

17. Procurement Officer (1)

• Education: BA in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related
• Experience: 3 years in procurement and store management

18. Mixer Driver Assistant (12)

• Education: Grade 10/12 completed
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as mixer driver assistant

19. Mixer Driver (6)

• Education: Grade 10/12 completed with valid driving license
• Experience: Minimum 4 years mixer driving experience

20. Fuel Depot Supervisor / Lead Attendant (1)

• Education: Level IV or Vocational Training in Mechanics or related
• Experience: Minimum 4 years fuel station operation (2 years as supervisor)

21. Fuel Dispenser (1)

• Education: Level II Vocational Training in Mechanics or related
• Experience: Minimum 2 years fuel handling experience

22. Plumber (1)

• Education: Level II or Grade 12 in Plumbing
• Experience: 2+ years plumbing experience
