About the Position

VisionFund Micro-Finance Institution S.C. is seeking a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Officer to strengthen its digital presence and support content creation, social media management, and community engagement initiatives. The role focuses on visual storytelling, digital strategy execution, and performance analysis to promote financial literacy, products, and outreach programs.


Key Responsibilities

A. Content Creation & Production

  • Plan, attend, and capture high-quality photography and videography at internal and external MFI events (e.g., client success stories, workshops, financial literacy trainings, and branch activities).
  • Perform basic to intermediate post-production tasks, including video trimming, subtitling, color correction, graphic overlays, and photo editing/resizing for platform-specific use.
  • Maintain and organize the institution’s digital asset management library of approved photos and videos.

B. Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage a content calendar focused on financial literacy, product promotion, and community outreach, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Manage daily posting, scheduling, and formatting across all digital platforms, including the website and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

C. Community Engagement & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor digital channels and respond promptly to comments and direct messages to foster trust and positive engagement.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators such as reach, engagement, and lead conversion, and report on content and campaign performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Diploma (Level 4) with COC certification or BA in Marketing, Business Management, IT, Journalism & Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience for Diploma holders or 2 years’ experience for BA holders in digital marketing, with emphasis on social media management, paid social media advertising, and SEO.

Certifications

  • Certifications in Google Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or related fields are highly preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to capture quality photos and videos using basic camera or smartphone equipment.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and basic editing tools (e.g., Adobe Rush, Canva, or similar software).
  • Excellent written communication skills for engaging captions and professional responses.
  • Understanding of the finance sector and commitment to promoting financial literacy.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Motorcycle driving skill with a valid license is required.

  • Strong visual aesthetics and attention to detail
  • Creativity and strong communication skills
