About the Role (Scope)
The Junior Engineer will support on-site engineering activities while ensuring all construction processes comply with:
- Contract specifications
- QA/QC procedures
- HSE standards
- Statutory and regulatory requirements
You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to support construction documentation, engineering processes, quality assurance, reporting, and material management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with contract specifications across all project stages
- Prepare and maintain material submittals, registers, and site documentation
- Ensure all Method Statements & Risk Assessments meet HSE and QA/QC standards
- Support procurement and long-lead item schedules, tracking deliveries
- Manage and control the flow of engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
- Report scope changes to the Commercial Team
- Maintain on-site drawing control, including as-built documentation
- Monitor installations and ensure QA/QC sign-off prior to inspections
- Conduct material take-offs and verify compliance with specifications
- Record and report site team productivity, delays, stoppages, and constraints weekly
- Assist with Testing & Commissioning, Warranty, Spares, and Handover documentation
About You – Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering fields
Experience
- Fresh graduates (0 years experience) strongly encouraged
- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience also eligible
Personal Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for on-site engineering work
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and willing to stretch
