Position 1: Senior Customer Service Officer

Purpose of the Job:

Receive and process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and FCY currency exchange, accurately and efficiently. Arrange all cash notes by sorting, warping and lodged based on their denomination. Maintain an organized cash drawer and ensure proper cash balancing at the end of each operational date. Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships. Enhancing the attraction, satisfaction and retention of existing customers through providing excellent customer service delivery so as to meet and exceed established sales, goals and deliver financial service products to current and potential customers and improving the efficiency of the branch operation and resource utilization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that the required related stationery items are fulfilled for daily business operations.
  • Coach and coordinate the activities of Customer Service Officers within the branch
  • Monitor service levels against customers’ expectation;
  • Facilitate the provision of efficient and high quality service to customers as per the standard;
  • Ensure all branch transactions are executed accurately and efficiently;
  • Ensure the principle of permissibility is in place;
  • Ensure the daily transactions are properly completed;
  • Ensure that unauthorized and unaudited daily transactions are properly authorized and audited
  • strictly control the Vault cash; both LCY and FCY;

Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

Experience: 

  • Three years of related Banking experience.
  • IFB training Certification is advantageous.

Location: Dila, Shashemane, Meti, Sigmo, Mechara

Position 2: Branch Operation Supervisor

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Authorize transactions originated by customer service officers, check the correctness of all transactions, and take corrective measures whenever any irregularity occurs.
  • Check all books of accounts are in balance, follow-up reconciliation of suspense accounts, and prepare all financial reports of the Branch.
  • Keep custody of cheques, payment instruments, and passbooks.
  • Keep under his/her custody printed check books received from the Branch Manager to be delivered to current account holders and ensure proper delivery of the same.
  • Open and administer the Primary Vault dually with the Branch Manager and solely administerthe  Secondary Vault.

Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

Experience: 

  • Four years of related Banking experience.
  • IFB training Certification is advantageous.

 

 

Location:  Mersa, Manbuk, Shashemane, Sigmo, Harar

Position 3: Branch Manager I

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement service delivery plans and programs to optimize service excellence and customer experience in the branch.
  • Ensure proper compilation of information for loan and foreign currency requests and submission of the same to the appropriate organ for further processing and approval.
  • Communicate with customer relationship management and branches to ensure coordination, consistency, and to create selling and cross-selling opportunities, and assist in answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Monitor customer service delivery in the branch and ensure that customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Work with the Branch Operations Director in establishing customer service, operational, and business objectives for the Branch.

Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

Experience: 

  • Six (6) years of  Banking Operations experience. IFB training Certification is advantageous.
