Position: Civil / Structural Design Engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering/design.
- Practical experience in both steel and reinforced concrete structural design/modeling.
- Strong experience in preparing structural detailing and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD and relevant structural design/modeling software.
- Ability to interpret structural calculations and develop accurate construction drawings.
- Architectural design/drafting experience or exposure is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for structural modelling, design development, and preparation of construction/detailing drawings for steel and reinforced concrete (RC) structures, particularly within industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review structural analysis and design models for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
- Prepare structural construction and detailing drawings based on approved design calculations and models.
- Work on industrial structures including steel frames, RC structures, equipment foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, and industrial buildings.
- Coordinate structural designs and drawings with architectural, piping, and other engineering disciplines.
- Revise drawings and models based on project requirements and technical reviews.
- Ensure structural documentation complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Participate in technical coordination and design review meetings.
