The female-only internship program is a one-year program with the primary objectives of empowering young female graduates and impacting the organization’s gender parity. It provides emerging female talents an opportunity to apply knowledge and enhance skills through mentoring and coaching, expanding their professional network, working on value-added projects, gaining hands-on experience, and getting acquainted with the oriental difference.
Position: Intern – Gender and Economic Strengthening
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or MA in gender studies, sociology, Gender and development, Psychology, social studies, and related fields
- Female fresh graduate
- Zero years of work experience
Desired Technical Skills
- Good written and verbal Sidaamu Afoo and English language skills
- Good computer proficiency (i.e., Ms. Word, Excel,)
- Firm belief in gender equality and sensitivity to vulnerable groups
- Team player, flexible, and able to work in the multi-cultural working setting
- Quick learning ability, communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
