Awash Bank S.C Job Vacancy Announcement 2026:

Position 1: Attorney I

Qualification & Experience: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) plus a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant banking experience.

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the bank and its subsidiaries regarding legal and regulatory compliance issues. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring changes in laws and regulations affecting the bank, reviewing corporate policies and procedures, contracts, and other legal documents, and providing instructions on required actions.

Position 2: Senior Accountant – IFRS Project  (Re-advertised)

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Accounting/Management related fields plus a minimum of six (6) years relevant experience in IFRS project, financial planning and reporting related activities preferably in banking industry.

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for performing the implementation of the IFRS Project, financial planning and reporting activities. S/he will perform the preparation and monitoring of the Bank’s consolidated reporting; financial statement and budget.

Position 3: Branch Manager – Class IV Branch

Qualification& Experience: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance and Economics plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ of relevant banking experience of which three (3) years in a supervisory position.

Job Summary The job holder is responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office. S/he ensures that operating procedures, rules, regulations and code of practices of the bank are adhered by subordinates. The jobholder leads the branch sales and customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence. S/he prepares and submits annual budget, operational plan and activity and progress reports.
