AMG Steel Factory is one of the leading steel manufacturer and supplier in Ethiopia established in 2010 G.C. The company has large market share in the supply of steel products specifically galvanized ribbed sheets, color coated profiles, corrugated sheets, nails, and other wire products. The Company is led by a General Director and all operations and services are managed by more than 25 qualified senior managers endowed with rich experiences. Total number of employees including contract employees has reached now to more than 1,000. AMG Steel Factory has its plant at Adama, 100 Kms from the capital city, Addis Ababa. Its Main Office is situated in Addis Ababa, Bole, Olympia area AMG Steel Factory’s first plant was set up on nearly 200,000 m2 land in Adama. The company is currently undertaking its first major expansion activities by introducing Re-bar and wire rod mills , Color Coating line, Tubes production lines, and Pre-engineered steel fabrication workshop. The captioned projects are currently under erection and commissioning stages.
The company is aspiring to become the largest steel producer in the country and in East Africa by supplying wide range of high quality steel products, holding pronounced shares and good reputation. In line with this vision the company has now started undertaking its second grand expansion project on a 280,000m2 land in the vicinity of Addis Ababa, Kality area. The company plans to diversify the company’s steel products by integrating backward and forward in the supply chain of the metal manufacturing sector.
