AdB was founded by a diverse array of shareholders, including Cooperatives, Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), Iddirs, various business entities, and private citizens. The primary shareholders of the Bank consist of Cooperatives and their members.
The Cooperatives primarily focus on delivering financial services, engaging in export activities, and participating in manufacturing and service sectors. The members of these key shareholders predominantly comprise low and middle-income individuals. Additionally, the Micro Finance Institutions cater to the financial requirements of the ‘Unbanked’ population.
Position 1: Junior Graphic Designer
Job Requirements:
- First Degree in Architecture, Computer Engineering or related fields1 year of relevant experience as a graphic designer
Job Summary:
- Enhance user experience and brand awareness through consistent visual identity, including logos, color palettes, and typography. Create visuals for publications, campaigns, ads, commercials, apps, digital signage, and social media, while staying aligned with current design trends. Participate in web design and development to visually communicate the bank’s brand across websites and social media.

Position 2: Internal Auditor
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance / Economics or other closely related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant banking experience; of which at least 1 year of demonstrated experience at junior auditor position.
Job Summary
- Under general supervision of Manager of Performance and Operation Audit Division, assist in audit activities of the bank as per approved audit programs.

Position 3: Performance & Operation Auditor
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance / Economics or other closely related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant banking experience; of which at least 1 year of demonstrated experience at junior auditor position.
Job Summary
- Under the general supervision of the Manager, Performance & Operation Audit Division, undertake performance and operation audit activities of the Bank; compile and file performance and operation audit reports.

Position 4: Deputy Chief Officer, Retail Banking
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting and Finance/ Management/ Economics or other closely related fields.
- For Master’s degree holders: Minimum of 9 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 4 years in senior managerial or leadership roles overseeing multiple functions
- For Bachelor’s degree holders: Minimum of 11 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 5 years in senior managerial or leadership roles overseeing multiple functions.
Job Summary:
- Under general direction of the Chief Officer, Banking Operation Office, the Deputy Chief Officer, Retail Banking Office is responsible for leading and overseeing the Bank’s retail banking operations across Branch Banking, Digital Banking, Interest-Free Banking (IFB), and District Offices. The role drives the development and execution of integrated retail banking strategies to achieve business growth, operational excellence, and superior customer experience. The position also provides strategic leadership and direction to Department Directors, ensuring effective performance management, alignment with corporate objectives, and consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role also ensures the delivery of efficient, compliant, and customer-focused retail banking services across all channels while strengthening the Bank’s market position and competitiveness.

Position 5: Branch Manager I
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance/Banking/ Management or other closely related fields.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience; out of which 2 years in supervisory role or equivalent positions.
Job Summary:
- Under the supervision of the Director, District Office, the Branch Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls all activities of the branch. The role mobilizes resources, approves loans, overdraft facilities, and local and foreign transfers within authorized limits, handles foreign exchange transactions, and reviews the business and financial background of loan and guarantee applicants. Additionally, the Branch Manager prepares regular reports on branch activities to support effective decision-making and oversight.
