Available Positions
1. Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) Officer – Gambella
Role Overview:
Manage budgets and lead child protection and youth programmes in emergency response. Work with volunteer social workers, community structures, and partner organizations to identify and address beneficiary needs.
Qualifications:
- BA in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years’ humanitarian aid experience in child protection/youth programming
- Strong knowledge of SGBV standards, case management, and donor compliance
2. Child Protection Assistants (2 Positions) – Gambella
Role Overview:
Support implementation of child protection policy and programmes in refugee camps. Strengthen community practices against harmful traditional practices and violence against children.
Qualifications:
- BA in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years’ humanitarian aid experience in child protection, GBV, or youth programmes
- Knowledge of GBV case management, MHPSS, and donor regulations
3. CPIMS Assistant – Gambella
Role Overview:
Lead implementation of child protection information management systems (CPIMS/CPIMS+). Manage child‑related data, ensure data protection, and produce clear reports for end‑users.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Statistics, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in database management and data analysis
- Experience with child protection data systems and case management basics
4. Health and Nutrition Assistant – East Borena Zone, Gorodolla Woreda
Role Overview:
Conduct community screening, Family MUAC implementation, IYCF‑E sessions, and manage acute malnutrition cases (MAM, SAM) in line with national CMAM protocols. Support health education and outreach services.
Qualifications:
- BSc/Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in health/nutrition programmes with valid license
- Knowledge of MIYCN, IYCF‑E, and community mobilization
- Fluency in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromoo (mandatory)
