World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program 2026 for International Students: Applications are now open for the World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program 2026. The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2026 is currently accepting applications from International Students hailing from Developing Countries. This scholarship is fully funded and allows recipients to pursue a Master’s Degree at prestigious universities. Students will have the opportunity to enroll in top institutions across the US, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan. Both women and men from Developing Countries are encouraged to apply.
The World Bank Scholarship offers 26 Preferred Programs for students to undertake their Master’s Degree. It will cover all associated expenses, with a scholarship duration of 2 years.
To be eligible for the World Bank Scholarship Program, applicants must gain acceptance into one of the 48 programs available in the United States, Japan, Africa, various European nations, and Oceania. Those who do not receive an admission offer to any of the qualifying graduate programs will not be eligible for the Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship Program. Upon completing the two-year graduate degree, recipients are expected to return to their home countries, utilizing their education and skills gained through the scholarship to contribute to their nation’s economic and social development. Applicants should demonstrate a strong passion and motivation to enhance their communities and effect positive change globally.

Benefits of the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program:

Eligibility Criteria of Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship Program:
- National of world bank listed countries.
- Not a dual-country citizen of a developed country.
- Not an employee of any of the organizations under the World Bank group.
- Not a close relative by blood of any of the employees working in any of the World Bank Group’s organizations.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have spent three years after getting Bachelor’s degree
- Have three years of work experience after getting Bachelor’s degree.
