Walia Steel Industry (WSI) is a privately held company founded in 2006 in Alemgena town, located in the Oromia Regional State, approximately 20 kilometers from Addis Ababa. It was initiated with a starting capital of Birr 200,000,000 (Two Hundred Million Birr) and has subsequently increased its capital over the years.
The company was created with the aim of producing and marketing steel products. The facility occupies a total land area of 53,000 square meters.
Position 1: Digital Marketing Officer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in digital marketing
- Strong knowledge of ,about social media marketing
- Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Ads Manager, etc.)
- Excellent communication and content creation skills
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills
- Graphic design basics (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- Email marketing experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Position 2: Machine Maintenance Technician
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in machine maintenance
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
- Good understanding of safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desired Skills
- Experience with PLC systems is an advantage
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving ability.
