Position: Junior Logistics Officer
We are looking for a motivated female candidate who is a fresh graduate or early-career professional in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (or a related business field) to join our team. The Junior Logistics Officer will support our daily import, export, and documentation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Import & Export Operations:
- Manage air and sea import clearance procedures through Customs Commission and relevant authorities.
- Coordinate air and sea exports with Customs, Ethiopian Airlines, and shipping lines.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.
- Submit and manage third-party permission requests (INSA, ECA, MOT, etc.) via the single window system.
- Prepare all necessary import/export documents in compliance with shipping requirements.
- Data & Administration:
- Maintain organized filing systems (printing, document verification, data cleaning, and record archiving for quick reference).
- Prepare daily reports using Microsoft Excel and Word for the Logistics Team Manager.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal team members, external stakeholders, and the Logistics Team Manager.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or any related business field.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Software Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and data entry.
