Transsion Manufacturing Plc, a company which was established by merging Weiguo Yu, assembler of Tecno mobile phones and Junjie Lui, manufacturer of accessories, has factory inside the Ethio ICT village, located around Bole Lemi Industrial Park.
We are looking for 400 female candidates and 100 male candidates to join our mobile assembly team at ICT Park (Goro), Addis Ababa. Position: Mobile Assembler
Job Requirements
- Education:
- TVET Level 2, 3, or 4 graduates in Electricity, Automotive Technology, IT, Electronics or related fields.
- OR Candidates who have completed Grade 10 or Grade 12.
- Age: 18 – 26 years old.
- Experience: Not required.
- Soft Skills: Ability to follow instructions, discipline, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Excellence: Work strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Resource Management: Properly handle and maintain materials, semi-finished products, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Quality Control: Identify and report any technical problems or missing SOP documentation at workstations.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in technical training to enhance skills and productivity.
- Workplace Standards: Maintain the workstation according to 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) principles.
- Professional Conduct: Follow instructions from Team Leaders, Line Leaders, and Production Engineers (PE).
- Accountability: Adhere to company rules regarding punctuality, discipline, and the “Reward and Punishment” policy regarding man-made defects.
