Position 1: Implementation and Support Officer

Key Purpose Statement:

The Implementation and Support Officer will assist in supporting and improving our internally developed ERP system based on Odoo and other custom applications. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates eager to build experience in ERP systems, business processes, and user support.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support to internal users (issue logging, basic troubleshooting)
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining Odoo modules
  • Support implementation of new features and system updates
  • Help document business requirements and system processes
  • Assist in testing system changes before deployment
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or developers
  • Prepare basic user guides and training materials
  • Support data entry, data cleanup, and report generation
  • Participate in user training sessions and workshops

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business IT, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience (internship or project experience is acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems (especially Odoo is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience exposure to ERP systems or business applications
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or databases
  • Familiarity with business processes (Finance, HR, Inventory, etc.)
  • Basic technical understanding (Python/XML is a plus but not required)

Position 2: Implementation and Support Specialist

Key Purpose Statement:

The Implementation and Support Specialist role is to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s ERP system and related applications by providing technical assistance, user support, system troubleshooting, and process enhancement support to ensure efficient business operations and user satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and roll out new modules and features within the in-house ERP system
  • Work closely with internal departments (Finance, HR, Operations, Sales) to understand business needs
  • Configure and optimize Odoo modules based on internal requirements
  • Provide ongoing support to internal users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Analyze system usage and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Coordinate with the development team for bug fixes, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes before release
  • Prepare user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions
  • Assist in data migration, cleanup, and reporting
  • Ensure data integrity and system reliability

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in ERP implementation and/or support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with in-house or custom-built systems

Position 3: System Test Engineer

Key Purpose Statement

The System Testing Engineer is to ensure the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of the organization’s ERP system based on Odoo and other custom-built applications through effective system testing, defect identification, validation of integrations, and continuous quality assurance across business-critical modules and processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases for Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, HR, etc.) and custom applications
  • Perform system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Validate end-to-end business workflows across Odoo and integrated systems
  • Test custom-developed features, reports, and workflows
  • Conduct API testing for integrations between Odoo and third-party systems
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira or similar
  • Perform data validation and database testing (PostgreSQL)
  • Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and business users
  • Support deployment validation and post-release testing
  • Contribute to test documentation and QA process improvements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in system/software testing
  • Hands-on experience testing Odoo (functional flows and modules)
  • Strong understanding of ERP workflows (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, CRM) Experience in manual testing and test case design
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Basic SQL knowledge for database validation (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
  • Understanding of SDLC and STLC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with custom module testing in Odoo
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
  • Knowledge of Python basics (for Odoo-related testing context)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment testing
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience
  • ISTQB certification is a plus

Position 4: Odoo Developer

Key Purpose Statement:

The Odoo Developer is to design, develop, customize, and maintain ERP modules and business applications that support organizational operations, enhance system functionality, improve performance, and deliver scalable business solutions through effective collaboration with functional and technical teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (both Community and Enterprise versions)
  • Design and implement new features based on business requirements
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using APIs
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in existing modules
  • Optimize system performance and ensure scalability
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Perform code reviews and testing to ensure quality standards
  • Upgrade and migrate Odoo versions when necessary

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Odoo development
  • Strong knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Odoo framework, ORM, and module development
  • Familiarity with XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and external integrations
  • Understanding of business processes (Accounting, Sales, Inventory, HR, etc.)
